# Belarus Ruby User Group (BRUG)

> Belarus Ruby User Group (BRUG) is the community of Ruby developers in Belarus since 2012. The new website is coming soon; for now brug.by is a one-page placeholder pointing to the community's Telegram group.

BRUG brings together people who write Ruby in Belarus: engineers, team leads, founders. The community runs regular meetups with talks from local developers about real projects, from Rails internals to production stories, and shares know-how on tooling, testing, performance and architecture. Announcements, questions and job posts live in the Telegram group, where you can also say hi if you want to speak, host or sponsor a meetup.
